What’s the deal with the oil companies?

            As the days grew shorter and colder, the price of gasoline dropped…and it was a pretty steep drop!  Everyone felt the weight lifting off their shoulders as they finally saw the numbers at the gas stations decrease by a few cents each week, and in some cases, each day.  A few cents may not seem like much, but it soon added up and, after a few months of slow decline, the price of a gallon of gasoline had dropped by a couple bucks. 

 A nice ten dollar savings one week, a fifteen dollar savings the next week, then a twelve dollar savings, and then a nine dollar savings,,,hey, what’s going on, I thought the price was dropping? 

What happened to that fifteen dollar savings, it’s only seven dollars now?

 Why is the price of gasoline on the rise again?  Isn’t the price of a barrel of oil going down?

 The love of money is the root of all evil, and the CEO’s of the oil giants love their money.  As the demand for gasoline rises, so does the price; regardless of what the oil companies pay per barrel!  As long as their pockets are full, it doesn’t matter to them if ours are empty.

Considering fuel cells?

            Hydrogen, the most abundant element in our universe, seems to be the most likely solution to fossil fuels.  Compressed hydrogen however, is a totally different story.  I, personally, have a few problems with the fuel cell and compressed hydrogen.
